Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer the message.
Automatic Site Data
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
What We Do With This Data
That limited data helps us run the site, diagnose errors, count traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, San Diego County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their privacy policies control any data submitted on those sites. That distinction also applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
When Data Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data noted above. We may also disclose information in response to valid legal process, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Our Data Safeguards
An encrypted connection delivers the site, and server logs are retained only as long as the stated purposes require. Since visitors do not create accounts, we hold no site password or user profile for them.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, provides covered consumers with rights that can include access, correction, deletion, and opting out of sale or sharing. Because we retain little information, a request will usually involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by the City of La Mesa, San Diego County, or California agencies remain outside our control; any correction or removal request for an official record must go to its custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after a revision is posted signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
